New Developments
Ingenious Solutions.
Our product development team is guided by the philosophy that each Höcker Polytechnik machine has to increase efficiency and improve the bottom line when it is integrated into a production process. Let us introduce a sample of our innovative solutions:
PaintStar PFW –proven technique - further improved Using two filter stages the proven paint mist exhaust system PaintStar achieves since many years compared with many other paint mist exhaust systems a very high filtration efficiency and longer service lives.
The distance between the primary and secondary filter mat has been enlarged which enables to use much thicker secondary filter mats. The resulting air cushion between the two filters increases at the same time the filtration efficiency of the primary filter. The advantage is very obvious: due to the higher volume many more paint particles can be stored, the service lives increase and last but not least the environment and the fan are protected even better than before.
Reducing operating costs – protecting environment. Höcker Polytechnik – always one idea ahead!
New briquetting press MAGNUM Duly for LIGNA 2009 Höcker Polytechnik presents a new type of briquetting machine called MAGNUM, suitable for higher throughput and briquetting performances up to 500 kg/h with only 22 kW. What‘s more, this briquetting press with built-in water cooling is suitable for forming briquettes from what are otherwise regarded as „difficult“ materials. BrikStar MAGNUM has been elaborated and subject to sufficient long-term tests. The machines can be combined with filter plants for automatic feeding; further solutions e.g. worm gear or conveying systems for various feeding possibilities of this type of briquetting press are at your disposal.

New Trumpf punch-nibbling machine goes on line In 2008/2009 one of the most modern and fast sheet metal forming machines goes on line at the head quarter in Hilter. The Trumpf punch-nibbling machine works more powerful and more efficient than the predecessor model; the power rating and the consumption of the operating medium could be reduced. The choice for this type of machine and the automated expansion of the installation has been developed in col-laboration with the university Duisburg-Essen during a diploma thesis. The complete installation is integrated in the production process at Höcker Polytechnik and at-tached at the existing metal sheet high rack storage area. This enables a fully auto-mated and lights-out multi-shift operation with a wide variety of primary material from standard up to special formats. Therefore the needed materials are given from the high rack storage area to the machine. Completed parts are stacked by the linear conveyor of the machine on the discharge tables, small parts can be discharged separately. Another advantage of the new machine is the burr-free processing of the parts, which is less dangerous during assembly for all staff members, technicians and last but not least for the customer. Waste and cutting scraps that occur during the punching process are milled with the ShearMaster and discharged by the conveying system directly into the container. Thus the new installation enables longer auto-mated production cycles without any operator. Orders can be processed more flexi-ble and reaction and delivery times are shortened.

BrikStar - A Shining Star When the chips are down - hydraulic briquetting presses simplify the disposal of metal and cellulose materials, making it economic and safe to dispose of production by-products. Compacting production by-products to a fraction of their original volume reduces storage and disposal costs. Organic material can be reduced down to a tenth of its volume, lightweight metals can be reduced down to a twentieth.
This compacting produces high-value material, for example biomass briquets that are sought after as an alternative energy source; the calorific value of 2 kilograms of briquets is equal to approx. 0.9 litres of heating oil. Prices for scrap metal continue to rise. Briquetting of metal chips increases the cash value of metal scrap by € 50.00 to € 200.00 per metric tonne.
We have updated our BrikStar brochure to include new developments and to illustrate the benefits that customers can gain from using a BrikStar briquetting press. » Download
